It is truly an astonishing thing to think that 536 people are handed an issue that virtually everyone in the country agrees needed to be fixed, and contrived and conspired to come up with a "solution" that just about everyone in the country hates.

Between the Democrats' "it's our way or the highway" and the Republicans' "anything Obama wants, we're against--even if we're for it" attitudes, I'm pretty much disgusted with our entire system of government.
