that's too funny - but the viola melodies is a total lie - it's 3 violins, tortured cello - no viola

and he should try playing the viola - that's our part for everything except when some violinocentric douchebag like Mozart felt like there weren't enough violins so he wrote more violin music and wrote "viola" on it expecting us to magically be able to play those fucking notes

ask anyone who played viola to name a composer who played viola - and they'll be able to name like 5 off the top of their head because if we didn't hate something - it was written by a violist - and everyone else made us wish we didn't always have to be so fucking contrarian all the time and could have been cliche like every twat who picked violin before us and got to play a better part

Funny thing is John Popper of Blues Traveler readily admits that 'Hook' is based around Pachabel's Canon in D.

So that comedian is not far off regarding that segment of his rant.
