I've been helping a friend all week with an estate sale. Lots of dirty dusty work. It's on an old horse farm with an indoor riding ring, barn and tack room. And wasps. Lots of wasps. But the work is interesting. :)

Thank goodness it has cooled down a bit.

YAY Friday - and TG for the cooler weather (if you can call a 90 degree high for today cool). At least it didn't feel like I was walking out into a wet blanket this morning.

And James picked and ate our first tomato this morning - it smelled wonderful!

I have the weekend to myself. Hubby is at a leadership conference in Las Vegas. yep that is what they are calling it.

Just me, the dog and the cats and control of the remote!!

The forecast for Atlanta is HOT HOT and HOTER. A possible break in the heat wave is being mentioned for Tuesday.

Busy day today!

Have a late endocrinology appt (1st one, so I'm hoping I like the doc), followed by a happy hour reunion with a slew of my old Precinct friends!
I haven't seen many of them in YEARS, so it should be interesting. And challenging - from what I can tell by their facebook pictures, many aren't quite as recognizable as they used to be. Who gained/lost weight... lost their hair...shaved facial foliage...all of the above...
I wonder if name tags will be involved.. :laugh:

Then off to see a band later at night!
