Nice going the Dallas Turkeys.

Had the Redskins all the way in the pool.

Re the rule which allowed the Texans TD when it was obvious it wasn't: if it isn't THE dumbest rule in sports it has to rank pretty high up there.

It is so dumb it is unreal it is actually a rule.

It should be a 15 yard penalty PLUS an ejection of the coach. Severe penalty for being absolutely stupid but don't change the result of a game.

Is the rule that if a challenge flag is improperly thrown, the play can't be reviewed no matter what?

Ridiculous.

They should change that rule before another snap.

I understand the concept that you can't challenge a call that hasn't been made, but the rest of it is ridiculous.

I heard one explanation on NFL Red Zone...they said coaches are warned before every game not to challenge scoring plays and not to challenge turnovers. If they do it's 15 yards for unsportsmanlike. Plus, since "a team can not benefit by committing an unsportsmanlike foul," the review is not done as further punishment.

Bottom line, it's a brain-dead rule, but one that Schwartz was apparently well aware of.

Which is worse -- losing 58-0 to a playoff contender, or losing 7-6 to the Jets?

Happy for the Giants - but fun being a Redskins fan this year for the first time. I only got into the Redskins after James' pre-school teacher turned her entire class into fans 4 years ago and it is a blast seeing how excited James is getting with the wins this year.

I'm not sure. But I also can't get it out of my mind this the same team (Cards) who knocked me and many other out of Survivor pools earlier this year by beating the Pats. How things change.

Dallas fires Rob Ryan. Guess this means even more camera time for King Jerry.

Big Blue cleaning house, or just tidying up?

Yesterday Michael Boley released. No biggie.

But today Chris Canty and Ahmad Bradshaw released. Biggie.
